I taught sixth, seventh and eighth grade English and worked on education projects at Institución Educativo Santa Ana, Santa Ana, Isla Barú, Colombia. I was in Colombia through WorldTeach, a Harvard-based non-profit operating with the support of Colombian non-profit Volunteers Colombia and the Colombian Ministry of Education. My volunteer teaching contract began in February and lasted through December 2011.
I will be leaving for my almost 5 months in Tanzania and the University of Dar es Salaam July 21. I hope to be able to update this blog while I am there.
